The Times, They Are A-Changin’ is a re-imagination of the most classic Bob Dylan songs of all-time, written for full orchestra or chamber orchestra, and symphonic chorus or vocal soloists. The production offers the opportunity to appreciate the power and poignance of Dylan’s lyrics and melodies in a new way, as they are amplified through full symphonic forces, and treated with classical technique. The title song acts as a narrative anchor, appearing three times throughout the work, each time a different setting. While some songs remain faithful to the originals, many (such as ‘All Along the Watchtower’, ‘Mr. Tambourine Man’, and ‘Make You Feel My Love’) are woven into rhapsodic fantasies.
